Projects
Fondazione Fair endeavours to ensure its work spreads a culture of safer gambling. This section describes all the projects (whether in their inception or underway), which are always at the disposal of everyone.
FAIR 2025 projects:
2025 is a very important year for the Foundation, with new content on which to think and propose mitigation actions, dissemination activities, communication, relationships to be established and events to be organized. Planned are:
1. An in-depth project on Responsible Gaming communication, in line with the indications of Article 15 of Legislative Decree 41, on the reorganization of online games
2. A research project on young people under 25 carried out with the excellence of the Catholic University, to intercept the risk behaviors of this age group and provide stakeholders with prevention guidelines and propose mitigation actions
3. The foundational survey carried out with IPSOS, which aims to collect data, insights and opinions from institutions and industry players, to listen in order to improve and/or solve any critical issues in the sector
4. Carrying out research into the risks of gaming at facilities that become places for young people to congregate and isolate themselves in the face of healthy social life
5. Interviews, new webinars and outreach activities
6. New issues of the newsletter with the main news on the topic of Responsible Gaming
7. A year-end institutional event on the topics of Responsible Gaming
FAIR 2024 projects:
2024 aimed to launch the Foundation, define the governance and team, introduce it to institutions, carry out initial research and key content to lay the foundation for the various activities.
FAIR's first international webinar was carried out. A great deal of work was also done to set up the 2025 research projects and activities with the goal of having the results already in the first months of the new year.
1. Two specific research projects on Responsible Gaming were carried out: ''Responsible Gaming Initiatives in the World", to examine the global landscape of Responsible Gaming with the aim of identifying and studying the best international organizations , and "The Culture of Responsible Gaming in Italy: knowledge, opinions and experiences of the community", which is an essential starting point for defining the concrete actions needed to spread the culture of Responsible Gaming in Italy.
2. The Foundation took part with stands and panels in national and international industry events to disseminate the results and insights of the research carried out on the subject of Responsible Gaming
3. The first international webinar was organized, in association with EGBA, entitled: “AI ACT and Responsible Gaming: regulation and innovation for the protection of players.”
4. Several interviews on Responsible Gaming and AI issues were given by experts in the field, in national and international media.
5. A magazine was produced on Responsible Gaming issues, conveyed as a newsletter with the main news on the topic.
