Community Opinions and Experiences on Gaming with Cash Winnings

This research is the abstract of an extensive research commissioned by the FAIR Foundation and carried out in collaboration with the social research institute Eumetra: The culture of Responsible Gaming in Italy.

It focuses on the opinions and experiences of the community (players and non-players) on gaming with cash winnings, analysing the meaning of gambling, the motivations behind gambling and the emotions felt. It also analyses players' perceptions of risk while gambling.

The research methodology, representative of the Italian population, analysed approximately 2000 players and non-players by assessing player type, age, geographical location and gender.
